The PFA+D Fellowship Program

The PFA+D Fellowship Program aims to elevate the skill and practice of individual South Florida artists working within the field of Fine Crafts and Hand-Made-Objects. We will strive to provide our Fellows with a series of career/work-related workshops/webinars/podcasts/Zoom-sessions with master makers and other professionals to hone their art and business skills. We seek to offer our Fellows opportunities to learn a set of career and job capabilities necessary to earn a dignified livelihood in today’s art market.

Interested South Florida artists will be assessed through an anonymous process through an application system that will include a resume, samples of their work, and a written statement defining their interest in participating in the program. A jury composed of three art professionals in the field of crafts will review the applications and choose five Fellows from the applicants.

The PFA+D Fellows Program seeks to sustain and nurture a diverse range of creative craft artists at various stages of their careers and continue expanding the craft field in South Florida.
